Hyundai Elantra Engines and Performance
The Elantra comes with a 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine that produces 147 horsepower and 132 lb-ft of torque, which comes with the SE, SEL, and Limited models. The first available option is a 1.6-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine that generates 201 horsepower and 195 lb-ft of torque, which comes with the N Line. The range-topping engine is an available 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder that delivers 275 horsepower and 289 lb-ft of torque, which comes with the N model.
All models come with front-wheel drive and a standard continuously variable transmission. The N Line and N models offer an optional six-speed manual transmission. The N Line also has an optional seven-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission, while the N model has an optional eight-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission.
Hyundai Elantra Fuel Economy

Hyundai Elantra Features
Along with power, performance, and fuel economy, the Elantra has a long list of excellent features and options. The Elantra comes with an intuitive infotainment system that offers a logical menu layout and a combination of touch inputs, physical knobs and buttons, and voice commands for ease of use. Android Auto™ and Apple CarPlay® connect your phone to the system wirelessly for on-the-go entertainment. The base model uses an 8-inch touchscreen, though you can upgrade to a 10.25-inch touchscreen. Other standard features include two USB ports, Bluetooth connectivity, HD radio, and voice recognition. Optional features include an eight-speaker Bose sound system and wireless device charging.
As for safety, the Elantra includes a rearview camera, high-beam assist, and automatic emergency braking. A forward-collision warning is also included, which alerts you to possible collisions. Lane-keep assist, a feature that provides minor steering corrections to keep you centered in your lane, is also standard. Optional features include collision avoidance assist and rear parking sensors.
